This is my second time going. The first time there was 1 min left until closing and a rep said she can't even print out a paper for me. The second time I go for a verification letter for school a rep tells me I have to call and make an appointment after June 15... Just for a piece of paper. They aren't helpful, and they give you an attitude. Waste of time! You spend money on parking and time drivingdriving.. in the end you go home frustrated with nothing!
The service was a little delayed when I was there
I spoke with a rep from the IRS she told me to go to this office for a face to face verification. I left work to go all the eay down town to this office where a lady at the front desk let an older gentleman speak to someone even though he did not have an appointment. She then proceeded to tell me that I needed to leave and make an appointment. I called to make one and the next available isnt until mid May. The first rep told me that my refund is processed and just sitting waiting for a verification but no one will see me before May. This is a really big inconvenience and down right stupid because there were literally 3 people waiting in the office. It is a shame what the IRS and this office does to people.
These people are a bunch of bureaucratic busy bodies. The only difference between an IRS agent and a street criminal is that they have the holy permission of politicians to steal for a living. If you work here, please quit your job and find something productive to do for an income.
