A wonderful museum with artwork from many different eras and in a wide variety of styles. The building itself is a beautiful throwback to the grandeur of Detroit in its golden age. There is an intricate and large mural created by Diego Rivera that takes up an entire interior courtyard.

Amazing museum. All staff members guards are so knowledgeable and helpful as well.

Also I noticed that they have many events there. So check their calendar to plan your trip.

Need to spend at least two days in Detroit just to enjoy their vast and historically significant collections.

We are very fortunate to have the DIA! A wonderful museum with lots of history. They also feature world class traveling exhibits. Love the focus on various ethnicities. Wonderful gift store, and cheap and easy parking.

The architecture was beyond breathtaking and the exhibits were surreal. Such a vast and interesting array of collections. It was a true pleasure to see; my only qualm is the size of the photography exhibit--it was beyond small and looked like a broom closet in comparison, and lacked much to even look at in terms of pieces. I hope that in the future it'll improve with more influential photography and shed some light on the beauty and cultural impact photography has had on art in general.

The museum staff has done an excellent job of making the museum come to life through its programming and interactive events.

Love it like always. There was such a great turnout for Friday. I am so happy that the arts are so strong in Michigan. I love all the programs and activities going on with in the museum.

This place is a must-see for any visitor to Detroit!
