Been to this one many times and every time staff is very friendly and helpful. I've been here during holidays and still had fast service. Pretty clean. I have traveled all over the country and this is the best one when it comes to staff.
Buses are good. But staffs are very rude and non cooperative except few. In the digital Life they asked for tickets hardcopy, very bad.
The bus station is centrally located in Detroit. The terminal is relatively small and offers storage for baggage. Their are no vendors in the terminal, so I’d suggest you bring your food and beverages for your trip. Theirs no electronic check-in stations, however, theirs a Greyhound personal who can assist you with checking in.
The bus station needs to work on sanitation more the lavatory needed to be refreshed had an early bus to catch and was very dissapointed maybe at that apparent time lack of workers or shift change doesn't matter an establishment is judged sometimes by their restrooms. The great part was the front desk clerk very efficient and was moving the long lines by herself safe travels ppl.
I waited for 3 hours for my bus to arrive and board. When it finally came time to board the bus, we had to wait in line for another 45 minutes before the driver actually began boarding. The driver and the security guard walk up to board everyone with smiles and laughter on their face. I finally get on the bus and it takes another 10 minutes or so to pull off. So here you have it: Bus was supposed to leave at 8am. It’s now 12 and we are just now pulling off. I’ve missed my previous engagements and greyhound has shown no empathy and little regard for the lives of their passengers. They didn’t notify us of the reason for the delay until our wait time had already exceeded two hours. I would not recommend this bus station at all.
