Cheap drinks great music. Always a good time

The club hours vary depending on who's booked the venue, day of the week, etc. Drinks are cheap and the staff is polite. Patrons are friendly and the music is quite good (taste may vary depending on the show). The building itself could use some looking after but if you're looking for a dark Detroit club you should give City Club a look.
Great club for industrial music and goth attire if that's your niche. Its great for people watching and the crowd is usually full of really courteous - but bizarre - people. The crowd size can vary depending on the night and can sometimes be a bit empty, but I've usually still had a good time regardless. It can seem a little dirty, but that comes with the theme. Cheap cover and drinks too. The only major downside (which almost caused me to give the club a 3 star rating) is that the staff is consistently terribly rude. I've been going here for years and the bouncers and barstaff are repeatedly unprofessional and inconsiderate. If you can look past that, fun place.
Never as much fun as it used to be, still draws a good crowd from time to time.
