It was great. I ordered their fried ribs and they were amazing! The bar atmosphere is good, not too loud and they have alot of space.

I've only been here once, and it was on a weekend, so, not sure how crowded it is during the week. The staff was very friendly and attentive, food was great as were the prices. Quiet relaxing atmosphere and very uncrowded, on a November Saturday afternoon.
Not a Mexican restaurant but a Tex Mex restaurant. The biggest difference is the steak options. I have been going here for years and have never been disappointed. They have regular specials and pretty nice margarita options too. Solid choice for lunch or dinner.
The bartender's name was/is Maria. She is a lovely lady and a top notch bartender, I'm not sure if I've ever had a better margarita ever. She was very busy but attentive and helpful no matter how much she had going on besides the lone gringo sitting at the bar by himself. I would absolutely suggest this fantastic cantina to anyone who likes great drinks, delicious food, and a welcoming and fun atmosphere. Maria, if I lived in Detroit then you'd have a loyal regular customer in me for sure!
