Loved it! Its was a blast , I went with my friend to see the drag show there which was so muvh fun. Good drinks but they only take cash so make sure to hit the ATM before you get there. They do have an ATM in the club just in case you forget. The drinks are super strong so make sure you call uber to get you home safe.
Stanley The Barbie Man used to work here. But owner Lorraine Karagas and her mother Betsy didn't like the attention he took away from them and the other alcoholics. He also managed their apartment building next door, but they wanted the roaches to stay, not him. Terrible dive bar. Stuck in 1954. Customers/tenants would cash their check at the bar, pay off their bar/burger/cigarette tab and rent and have a few quarters left over for the slot machines and pay phone.
Very fun place. The inside & back patio is not a huge area so definitely expect to be close to others. In my experience, Fridays & Saturdays are the times to go. I'm hetero but it's a very inclusive place for those different & alike. Everyone just wants to dance, enjoy themselves & have a good time. Drinks are strong & reasonably priced. If it's not some place you'd typically go, definitely keep an open mind because the music is vulgar & the designated female bathroom always end up turning unisex. Oh, & smoking IS allowed, if that's your thing.
I came here with my brother for his bff bday. I had a ball and the drinks are good. I just went for fun... Music was Poppin..
Sunday nite Karaoke is Really nice, except for the Host . The white guy, seems to have attitude issues to often...
