Brand new park, opened at the end of Summer 2017. They do run an occasional silent disco which is pretty cool. During parties they offer cash bars and food. From time to time, they run a farmers market.
Never been here before but most of my friends have. Can't wait to make it. I hear it's in a nice area.
I found the beacon Park to be and very pleasant experience. When my family and I got there on East Grand Boulevard there was parking that only cost a dollar for an hour and it was right in front of the Beacon Park! The park was decorated with all kinds of things to do like miniature golf dancing, and riding on there very large seesaw. We relaxed at the tables under the umbrella and listen to the band play and have a very enjoy being relaxing experience. And what is more is that we were only a block away from the grand circus Park which we walk down to and enjoy as well. I pray the Beacon Park is around for many years to come!
The new park downtown, serving the western part of downtown Detroit, near Cass and Grand River. It completely changes the feel of this part of the downtown. Mucho events happening here almost every day. Many kid friendly activities too.
DTE did a great job creating this new park in the downtown area. It brightens up the northwest part of downtown. Lots of crazy things to do here. Fully suggest going for one of the silent discos!
