The biscuit is hella buttery!
Ok, firstly as a transplant from the East Coast the one thing I missed in Michigan was Chick-fil-A. They are rapidly expanding in Michigan but the 2nd one I was aware of (other than the one assuredly giving students their "freshman 15" on Oakland University's campus) is one the one in the McNamara terminal in DTW airport. The first time I tried this location I experienced the obvious growing pains of a newly opened restaurant: slightly soft fries, not-as-crispy as usual nuggets. However, on my last Delta flight, I was graced with the BEST Chick-fil-A I've EVER HAD. I kid you not, the nuggets were perfect, and the fries were the best I've ever had at ANY Chick-fil-A location (and believe me, I've been to more than a few...). It was as if each waffle fry was individually fried and salted to perfection, each one as perfectly crispy as the last, and this was consistent through 2 sleeves of fries. My personal favorite is the nuggets with a combination of Buffalo sauce and ketchup (to sort of make a "hot ketchup"). Honestly, the best Chick-fil-A I've ever had.
Cold food. Not recommended for breakfast. Also coffee was horrible. Food was already prepared before I got there and my medium coffee was already poured. Never experienced such a poor chick fil a.
Always a great surprise to find at the end of Terminal A. Line is typically long, but moves quickly. Love the self-playing piano! Monique served me with a huge smile on her face and sunlight directly in her eyes at 7 am!
Yum, yum and yum! I always try to grab a sandwich before my flight. You just can't beat it! The staff seems nice.
