The bbq has a good flavor and texture. You will literally see folks put front grillng the meat. Sauce is okay, not bad, just okay. It can actually be overshadowed if you add your own sauce. Fries are plentiful and delicious. Coleslaw is tangy and good. Not overly sweet or dripping in salad dressing. It's got a little hint of horseradish in there.
I have had good food here in the past. The mac and cheese was good. I ordered the bbq chicken dinner and the greens was kinda dirt but what made me disappointed was the bbq chicken was bland a little cold and horrible. Soul food is suppose to be cooked from the soul right? The cook has no soul.......
Great place for some of my favorite ribs in town. When the ribs are great they are probably the best in town, but very rarely it seems like I've gotten a batch that is just pretty good instead of the normal greatness. I'd give 4.5 if I could but this only lets me rate full stars, so 4 stars for a little bit of inconsistency now and then. Still always worth a stop if you're in the area.

The best ribs I've tasted other than my own. Sometimes a little slow, but customer service is always professional. Will and have recommended to friends and family. Portion and price reasonable.
Honestly, it's good. Most folks will come on here after getting into it with some of the staff or after they spent a little money to complain but really, don't mind the haters... It's perfect when you want some soul food and grand ma ain't around... (excuse the slang)..
