We ate a wonderfully flavorful traditional Thanksgiving meal (minus mashed potatoes) as we watched our Lions lose to the Vikings (ugh) on the myriad TVs througout the multi-level structure.
Interested in returning to bowl or shoot some darts or pool. Looks like a really fun place to enjoy with your friends...the one NEGATIVE...having only 1 - Unisex restroom...at least that's all we saw.
They have an extensive menu. The food is delicious. There are multiple seating areas that give to different vibes. A great deal to do recreationally with karaoke rooms, bowling and games. Multiple bars set up so that you can take a date and feel like you are bar crawling all within one building. The prices are fair. Top 5 best spots to visit in metro Detroit.
What a disappointment. Made a reservation for bowling for 9pm, called us at 8:48. Walked up to the stand at 8:50 and they said, “we called you and you didn’t answer so we gave your reservation away. Drinks were ok (expensive by Detroit standards). Food was just awful. Food was brought out in three different waves, 10 minutes apart. My Kobe dog was lukewarm so I let the server know. 15 minutes later the same plate came back microwaved, and it still wasn’t hot. My wife had the pot roast and it made her sick about an hour after leaving. The server seemed like he had zero interest in being there, and openly complained to our group that he “still had to be here for 5 hours”. This place has so much potential, but they are failing miserably at the moment.
We were at Punchbowl this weekend for brunch. I always enjoy my visits there. I like the menu, but more important, the staff is great. Shanice was our server; she was welcoming, friendly, attentive, and professional.
I have come here for a yearly professional event 2 years in a row now. While it is a spacious venue and has a lot to offer with games, karaoke etc. (thus the 3 stars) the food is lacking in every way possible. The first year I came it was actually pretty good but everything this year was cold, dry and poorly placed next to the bar making it difficult to get to with everyone getting drinks. The drinks were okay, not great by any means but not terrible. I really hope they get it together in this regard as it could be a really awesome place for future events.
